Men's Retreat: Spiritual Hydration and The Gift of Enough (ON CAMPUS, Commuter with Meals)
Facilitators: Terry Hershey and Deacon Phil Locascio
ON CAMPUS at the Franciscan Renewal Center, 5802 E. Lincoln Dr. Paradise Valley, AZ
A retreat for men that will provide relaxation, prayer, insights, discussion, and laughter. There will be great food, quiet time for prayer and reflection, awesome retreat grounds, clean and comfortable rooms, and men of all types and backgrounds.
What is Spiritual Hydration, the gift of enough? It is not really so much a task, as it is the permission to embrace our DNA wiring to be replenished. Before we trade in this life for the life we "should" have, let us taste This Life--meaning the invitation to honor the dignity that is reflected by God's goodness and grace. We are wired to pause: to embrace the sacrament of the present; to see, hear, taste and touch grace, and the sacred in our world.
Here's our invitation: Today, let us embrace epiphanies. Let us appreciate a willingness to be surprised. Let us relish the sacred in the ordinary.
The frustrations, pressures, and dryness of life will be transformed into spiritual energy, saturated with wisdom and wit. Men of the desert, together in a safe and peaceful setting, taking time away from the routines of life, to be spiritually "re-hydrated." This will be a memorable and life-changing experience.
Fee: $135, includes meals
